Phillip Island Kindergarten is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people. Our service has a zero tolerance to child abuse and are committed to providing safe, respectful and trusting environments for all.

We acknowledge the Bunurong People of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the land and waters on which we live, learn, and play.

We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples who walk this land with us today.

We honour the deep and enduring connection the Bunurong people have with this country: a relationship grounded in care, wisdom, and the passing of knowledge from one generation to the next.

As we walk alongside children on their journey, we recognise that this land has always been a place of learning, storytelling, laughter, and play. For thousands of years, Bunurong children have grown strong on this land—nurtured by family, community, and the rhythms of nature.

We are grateful to share in that spirit and commit to creating spaces where children feel deeply connected—to the land, to culture, and to each other.
